RESEARCH SUMMARY

I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla in May 2019 with a B.S in Biological Sciences. During my undergraduate years, I was part of an ecological study concerning the parasitic load of invasive snake species affecting the island of PR. In October 2020 I joined the RNA Biology Laboratory at National Cancer Institute as a postbaccalaureate fellow. Ever since I have been eager and enthusiastically gathering the puzzle parts to reveal the factor involved in mRNA decay. Outside of the lab I enjoy going on hikes, reading, painting, and drawing.
