Biography
Postbaccalaureate Fellow
Brian C. Stevens, B.S.
Brian Stevens received his bachelor’s degree from Keene State College where he spent 3 years working in Dr. Jason Pellettieri’s lab studying the role of the Nonsense Mediated mRNA Decay pathway and stem cell proliferation in the regenerative planarian species, Schmidtea mediterranea. After completing his undergraduate degree, Brian joined the lab of Dr. Erin Davies, at NCI in Frederick and is investigating the acquisition of regeneration competence in developing planarian embryos.
