RESEARCH SUMMARY

Dr. Benjamin Green is a research fellow in the Surgical Oncology Branch and joined the Greten lab for his postdoc in 2021. Dr. Green received his M.D. from Temple University School of Medicine and is a resident in general surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. His research interest is immunotherapy resistance in liver tumors. In particular, he is studying the mechanisms of how immunosuppressive cells are recruited to liver tumors, and the ways in which these cells exert their pro-tumor effect.
