RESEARCH SUMMARY
Anna Newen is a postbaccalaureate fellow in the Experimental Immunology Branch of the National Cancer Institute. She graduated from Rutgers University-New Brunswick with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Spanish in May 2022. In October 2022, she joined Dr. Christian Mayer's lab where she investigates apoptosis in B lymphocytes. Upon completing her training at the NCI, Anna hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician-scientist.
