RESEARCH SUMMARY
Dr. Saha completed her Ph.D program at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She joined the Chromatin Structure and Epigenetic Mechanisms (CSEM) group in Dec, 2018 where she is studying the role of Histone H1 protein variants in the control and regulation of repetitive elements. Her long-term research interests include identifying the distinctive roles of Histone H1 variants and uncovering their causal mechanisms in diseases like cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, etc.
