RESEARCH SUMMARY
Aleesha Jacob studied biology at George Mason University, where she became especially interested in immunology and microbiology. Aleesha is now part of the Human Virome Core group under Dr. Limin Wang in the Liver Cancer Section of the Laboratory of Human Carcinogenesis. She is exploring the relationship between past viral exposures and the development of hepatocellular carcinoma.
