RESEARCH SUMMARY
After finishing med school, Abhisek did his master's in Genetics from India and his Ph.D. in Immunology from Baylor College of Medicine (TX, USA). As a graduate student in Dr. Tony Eissa's lab, Abhisek studied the roles of autophagy in innate immune cells. Abhisek is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Alfred Singer's lab, working on T cell signaling and the molecular basis of MHC-restriction of T cells.
