Ira Phadke is a PhD student working on the metabolic regulation of hematopoietic stem cell differentiation. During her PhD, she is trying to understand:

1. the role of ascorbate during murine development using the GULO^-/- mouse model.

2. the role of the eukaryotic translation initiation factor (eIF)5A hypusination during erythroid differentiation.
