Dr. Makala has a decade-plus experience in molecular biology, protein chemistry and structure-based drug discovery methods to evaluate small molecule inhibitors including clinical agents. In our laboratory, his focus is on assessing biomolecules such as peptides, nanobodies, and antibodies targeting key biomarkers in HCC for the creation of innovative radiopharmaceuticals for cancer treatment.
