Julia graduated from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa in May, 2023 with two B.A.’s in Biochemistry and French Literature. While as an undergraduate, she completed research at the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health), investigating how the physical properties of several alpha- and beta-emitting radionuclides (Y-90, Lu-177, and Ac-225) impacted the tumor immunologic and the DNA damage response in syngeneic murine tumor models. She is pursuing a fellowship at the NCI in order to advance her biomedical research skills within the domain of targeted agents for cancer diagnosis and therapy. She enjoys speaking and reading French, cooking, traveling and running in her spare time.
