Wilson worked on a collaborative project between Dr. Jordan Meier (CBL, NCI-Frederick) and Dr. Shalini Oberdoerffer studying post-transcriptional RNA acetylation. He developed and applied new chemical methods to study the RNA modification N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) in biological contexts.
