Dr. Jing Huang, Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genetics, has received NIH Tenure. Dr. Huang’s research explores repression and activation of gene expression by the p53 tumor suppressor protein and the role this regulation has on embryonic and mesenchymal stem cell biology. Using genome wide and epigenetic approaches both in vitro and in mouse models, Jing’s work is contributing to our understanding of p53-related therapy for stem cell diseases and cancer.
