A small percentage of stomach cancers are passed genetically from parent to child. Jeremy Davis, M.D., Staff Clinician in the Thoracic and Gastrointestinal Oncology Branch, is leading a study that will gather data about these hereditary gastric cancers. Specifically, investigators want to learn which genes are involved in inheriting these cancers, how stomach cancers affect the body and which factors raise a person’s risk of developing them. This study is for research purposes. For more information about this trial, visit Dr. Davis' website.
