Job Description

A post-baccalaureate position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Steven Rosenberg at the Surgery Branch, Center for Cancer Research, National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, Maryland. The post-baccalaureate fellow will perform experiments under the supervision of a Staff Scientist.

The Rosenberg laboratory is dedicated to translating basic scientific findings into clinically actionable treatments.

In addition to their laboratory work, post-baccalaureate fellows will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of clinical research through participation in clinical trials and related projects.

Required and Preferred Skills

Required Skills
  • The qualified candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Immunology, Cancer Biology, or Cell Biology). Candidates currently pursuing a degree are not eligible.
  • Proficiency in basic cell culture techniques is required.
Preferred Skills
  • Basic knowledge of Immunology, Cancer Biology, and Cell Biology
  • Familiarity with immunological laboratory techniques
