Miki Kasai, B.S.

Technical Laboratory Manager

Miki Kasai is a biologist working in Dr. Kaplan’s lab.  In addition to his role as laboratory manager, he is actively involved in clinical research projects characterizing recruited bone-marrow derived cells from newly diagnosed patients with various stages and types of malignancies.

Miki Kasai received his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Binghamton.  He joined the Pediatric Oncology Branch in 1991, working in the Immunocompromised Host Section in the field of medical mycology.  In 2010 he joined the laboratory of Dr. Rosandra Kaplan, Head of the Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis section.
