RESEARCH SUMMARY

The lab is focused on the role that small trans-acting RNAs do in helping the bacterium E. coli respond to stresses or changes in its environment. In particular, we have been interested in the physiological conditions under which the small RNAs become expressed and what mRNAs they target.
