Dr. Marion Bona obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics at the University of Heidelberg in 1981. After postdoctoral training at Brown University, the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, F. Hoffman-La Roche & Co., and the University of Freiburg, she joined the faculty in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University in 1991. Dr. Bona joined the HIV Drug Resistance Program, National Cancer Institute, as a Staff Scientist (SAIC) in 1999. She was one of four SAIC-Frederick employees who were recognized among the winners of the Annual SAIC Corporate Science Technology Fellows Council awards for publications that were considered to represent the best SAIC technical publications in 2012.
