Biography

Dr. Swati Choksi is a Staff Scientist in Cell and Cancer Biology Branch at the the National Cancer Institute, NIH. She received her Ph.D. And training in the Department of Immunology, Kimmel Cancer Center, Thomas Jefferson University. She is interested in cell death and the fine balance of apoptosis, necrosis and autophagy that regulates the fate of a cell. Her current work is focused on connecting cell death pathways to tumorigenesis.
