Dr. Halsey received his B.A. degree in Zoology from Connecticut College and his M.S. in Biochemistry and D.V.M. degrees from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, he went on to complete a combined residency in anatomic pathology and Ph.D. in Cancer Biology at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences/Flint Animal Cancer Center. Dr. Halsey is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (Anatomic Pathology). Dr. Halsey joined NCI in 2013 as a Staff Scientist and Investigative Pathologist in the Molecular Pathology Unit, Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genetics.
