Biography

Dr. Fu received her M.D. and Ph.D. from Norman Bethune University of Medical Science (currently named Norman Bethune College of Medicine, Jilin University) in China. She joined the laboratory of Molecular Pharmacology in the National Cancer Institute and worked for Dr. Mirit I. Aladjem as a visiting fellow in 2001. She worked at FDA with Dr. Keith Peden as an ORISE fellow from 2006. She re-Joined Dr. Aladjem's lab as a research fellow in 2008, and was appointed a staff scientist in 2012. Dr. FU's currently study focus: DNA replication initiation and cell cycle regulation in mammalian cells.
