Dr. Kreisl graduated in 1996 from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in economics and health care management. In 2001, Dr. Kreisl received her M.D. from Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York. She also completed an internship in medicine in 2002 and a residency in neurology in 2005 at New York Presbyterian Hospital. As a testament to her extraordinary clinical and supervisory skills, Dr. Kreisl was appointed chief resident during her final year of residency. Before joining the Neuro-Oncology Branch (NOB), Dr. Kreisl completed a fellowship in neuro-oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Currently, Dr. Kreisl is a tenure track investigator and the fellowship director.
