Information Representation Working Group (IRWG)
- The IRWG is part of the Life Sciences Integrated Cancer Research program. The IRWG mission is to represent the interests of Life Sciences Domain and to support the emerging NCI Enterprise Architecture Specification with a semantically aware Service Oriented Architecture (sSOA) to ensure interoperability of tools and services. This will include but is not limited to:
1) Contributions to and compliance with the caBIG Services Aware Interoperability Framework (SAIF) Enterprise Conformance and Compliance Framework (ECCF) requirements; 2) Expansion and elaboration of the Life Sciences Domain Analysis Model (LS DAM) and related infrastructure models including model harmonization efforts; 3) Use of standards (e.g. the BRIDG model, and the ISO 21090 data type specifications) and vocabularies. |
