NCI Molecular Pathology and Cancer Research Training Award
Individuals with or with out previous formal training in pathology may apply for an NCI Molecular Pathology and Cancer Research Training Award to undertake applied or basic research training in the intramural laboratories of the CCR NCI. This Center for Cancer Research intramural non-degree-granting training initiative is open, but not limited, to veterinarians, physicians, allied health professionals, basic biomedical scientists, and students interested in investigative pathology and biomedical research. The type of training experience will vary depending upon the interests and academic qualifications of participants. Individuals may seek training as a summer enrichment, for a mid-career sabbatical, by physicians seeking interdisciplinary research animal diagnostic interests, or by individuals seeking formal postdoctoral research experience. The length of the training experience will vary depending upon participants' goals and previous academic or professional experience.
