please contact the individual scientist directly by e-mail with a letter of intent.
Attach your C.V. and include at least 3 references.
The Cancer Research Training Award (CRTA) is the general award
mechanism that is used by NCI to support stipends for U.S. citizens and permanent
residents. Fellowships are made for 2 years initially, but may be reviewed and renewed
annually for up to 5 years, based on merit. In addition to the CRTA, NCI/CCR offer
several other specialized fellowship programs:
Visiting Fellowships for Foreign Graduates
Foreign graduates who are seeking NCI postdoctoral fellowships should visit the
NIH Visiting Program for information on training programs
that have been set up specifically for foreign scientists. The NIH Visiting Program Web site
provides detailed information on types of awards, requirements, travel, and how
to apply. Visiting fellowship awards are generally made for 2 years, but 1-year
awards are an option. Fellowships are renewable for up to 5 years, based on merit.
