Dr. Medhanit Bahta of the Burke group (left) and Kristy Adams of the Barchi group
(right) have each been selected as winners of the Fellows Award for Research Excellence
(FARE) 2011 competition. Each of their presentations was deemed outstanding based
on the scientific merit, originality, experimental design and the overall quality
and presentation.
The FARE 2011 Award is $1000 awarded to attend and present original work at a scientific
meeting within the United States. FARE 2011 is sponsored by the NIH Scientific Directors,
the Office of Intramural Training & Education, the Office of Research on Women's
Health, as well as the Fellows Committee.
