Dr. Genoveffa Franchini, Senior Investigator in the Vaccine Branch at CCR, discusses the Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) between NCI and the pharmaceutical company, Sanofi Pasteur. This CRADA allowed for the development of a vaccine approach that reduced the risk of HIV infection. The results were shown in one of the largest HIV intervention trials to date.
