Dr. Ayaz’s research interest is to understand molecular mechanisms of mutant p53 gain-of-function in breast cancer. Her current research focuses on identifying novel protein interactions using innovative imaging, proteomics, and cell line models to address the new gain of function roles of mutant p53.
