| Position Description: | A postdoctoral position is available to study the role of a family of transcriptional factors in lymphocyte development and immune regulation. It involves the use of retroviral vectors to knock-down or overexpress transcription factors, and immune reconstitution of mice with modified hematopoietic stem cells. The contribution of these factors to lymphocyte development and function will be analyzed using FACs and cellular techniques. Identification of the mechanism of action will be done by global analysis of gene expression, identification of protein interacting partners and target DNA sequences. |
| Experience Required: | We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate with experience in cellular immunology and molecular techniques. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. with no more than 5 year of postdoctoral experience. |
| Additional Information: | Interested applicants should submit a CV, a brief description of research accomplishments, and 3 referent contacts to kovalovskyd@mail.nih.gov. |
