A postdoctoral position is available in the Laboratory of Tumor Immunology and Biology (LTIB) for a successful candidate to be involved in translational research efforts in cancer immunotherapy and in the development of novel strategies for cancer vaccines. Studies will also involve mechanisms of host T-cell activation and immune regulation. Studies are also ongoing on the use of immunotherapy to target drug-resistant tumor cells, and the combined use of immunotherapy with other forms of anti-cancer therapy. Studies also involve the use of immunohistochemistry to define the effects of immunotherapy on the tumor microenvironment.
The LTIB conducts translational research in the areas of tumor immunology, immunotherapy, mechanisms of tumor cell-immune cell interactions, and immune mechanisms. The laboratory functions as an integrated translational research program with the goal of designing and developing new immunotherapies and immunologic strategies for cancer treatment and prevention. Additional information about our research activities can be found on our web home page.
|Experience Required:||Interested candidates should possess a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree in immunology, molecular biology, or pathology.|
The position is available immediately. The appointment duration is up to 5 years. Stipends are commensurate with education and experience.
