| Position Description: |
Positions are available to study retroviral replication using human immunodeficiency viruses and simple retroviruses. Specifically, we are interested in the mechanisms of specific RNA packaging, virus assembly, reverse transcription, and HIV pathogenesis. We use molecular tools to dissect various aspects of viral replication and apply these findings to the understanding of viral pathogenesis.
