The CCR Animal Resource Program centrally funds rodent holding, as well as 50% of the cost for cryopreservation, transgenic mouse production, and knockout mouse production. The use of these services requires CCR Office of the Director (OD) approval prior to use. Requests to use these services should be entered through the Resource Request System (RRS), which is accessed through the CCR Portal at https://ccrintra.cancer.gov/cms/login/login.aspx.
Note: All CCR chiefs, principal investigators, assistant clinical investigators, senior scientists, and senior clinicians have RRS access privileges. Also, some labs/branches have designated a staff member (i.e., chief’s designee) who can submit RRS requests on behalf of any investigator in their lab/branch. Questions re: RRS access should be directed to Ave Cline or Sue Fox.
